1. What Sarer does

Sarer is a clinical documentation tool that records voice consultations and uses AI to generate structured medical notes. It is a documentation aid only — all AI-generated notes must be verified by a licensed clinician before use in clinical records.

2. Data we collect

  • Email address — used for login (OTP) and account management.
  • Voice recordings — sent to our transcription service for processing. Recordings are deleted after transcription.
  • Transcripts and notes — stored securely and associated with your account.
  • Profile information — name, specialty, country (optional).
  • Usage data — basic analytics (notes created, time saved). No behaviour tracking.

3. How we use your data

  • To process voice recordings into clinical notes.
  • To authenticate your account and send login codes.
  • To manage your subscription and send billing emails.
  • To improve note quality and app performance.

We do not sell your data. We do not use patient data for AI training.

4. Third-party services

  • Anthropic (Claude) — AI note generation.
  • OpenAI (Whisper) — Voice-to-text transcription.
  • Stripe — Payment processing. We do not store card details.
  • Railway / Vercel — Hosting infrastructure.

5. Data retention

Notes and transcripts are retained while your account is active. Voice recordings are deleted after transcription. You can export or delete all your data at any time from Settings.

6. Your rights

  • Access — Export all data from Settings → Export Data.
  • Deletion — Delete your account and all data from Settings → Delete Account.
  • Correction — Update your profile from Settings → Profile.

7. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Accounts use one-time password (OTP) authentication — no passwords stored. Data is encrypted at rest.

8. Medical disclaimer

Sarer is a documentation aid, not a medical device. AI-generated notes may contain errors. Always review all notes before including them in official clinical records. Sarer is not responsible for clinical decisions made based on AI-generated content.
